About Modal Media

Modal Media is a small, independent creative studio in the UK, specialising in immersive media, audiovisual content and creative direction.

Modal Media develops concepts and original content for planetariums, museums, visitor attractions and educational organisations, with a particular focus on science and immersive experiences.

About The Founder

Atheen is a musician, composer and digital media professional with 38 years of experience working across music, performance and digital production.

Her work has included composing and producing music, organising and performing live shows, recording studio work, podcast production and digital media management. She has also worked as a keyboard demonstrator and developed a range of independent music and media projects.

Her experience has covered both the creative and practical sides of production, from developing an initial idea through to recording, editing, presentation and delivery.

In 2025, she began developing the Modal Coherence Field (MCF), an independent research project exploring a wave-based framework for gravity and cosmology. This work has since developed into a published body of research and a series of educational videos.

She established Modal Media to bring these areas of experience together, with a particular interest in immersive audiovisual projects.
